Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis. Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots. From sandwiches to salads, to soups and Kramarczuk's hot dogs. We have a full vegetarian and vegan menu with gluten-free options. We have local craft beer and Belgians on tap. Stray Dog is open Monday-Thursday from 11am to 11pm for indoor dining and bar. Thursday has all day Happy Hour along with Trivia at 8pm. Late night eats until Midnight on Friday and Saturday. It was a lively and packed night at The Block - which was great! The highlight of the night was Keith. Before we got there Amilia says, "I hope we get Keith again tonight!" Well, it worked out that we did. He remembers our usuals and is great about making any changes we'd like. I added beer cheese to my burger and queso dip for my fries. I didn't even know we could do that. Thanks to Keith for the suggestions and advice! So many laughs, fun conversations, good music, and great people. Look forward to doing it again next week!

Mostly French inspired dishes, which were good portion size and flavorful. The weak link here, is the service which is slow; I think the pacing between when you order and when you receive your item can be improved, especially with drinks. My wife ordered an NA mocktail, which turned out to be unavailable but it took 10 minutes for our waiter to communicate that, then it was showing on the bill (it was removed after I noted the error).

We have eaten at Mill Valley Kitchen several times before so when we were planning to meet with friends for lunch we suggested Mill Valley Kitchen. They also really enjoyed the food and the ambience. Our server was very good as well. We will return!
