The restaurant is named after America’s most famous founding father, Benjamin Franklin. While he was pinnacle in America’s birth, he also became the first ambassador to France. While on trips to Paris, he would wine and dine with the best of them and when he returned, he would bring back the French culture, food and wine, and share it with our new nation. Dishes like Potato Lyonnaise and Crème Brulée were the first of his favorites he shared with America. The Benjamin reflects that bridged gap between the two countries’ cultures. The restaurant and bar is french-inspired, but uniquely American. It sits in Ridgefield's historic district in a 1875 house, but the interiors are modern, elegant and new. Outstanding Service, lovely food and charming atmosphere. Burgers, truffle fries, Desert Board and Gingerbread Chai Latte were very tasty. We were seated outside under heaters which was perfect thanks to good weather. They offered Seasonal Cocktails and they were passing hors d'oeuvres while we were waiting to be seated. This cafe is situated in Terrain and it was so beautifully decorated for Christmas including a snow machine. This was my 2nd visit and Restaurant staff are excellent.

Went on a Friday night for dinner and karaoke. The food, drinks, staff, and patrons were great. We had so much fun celebrating our friend's birthday. She said it was the most fun she had in a long time. We will be back.
