Casual waterfront dining right on the docks of the Patchogue River, The Oar serves up fresh and delicious steaks and seafood. Chefs prepare specialties like coconut shrimp, 36 oz sizzling prime porterhouse, lobster quesadillas and fresh Bluepoint oysters and little clams which are delivered daily. Two dining rooms are decorated in traditional nautical style. The Snapper Inn offers seating overlooking the Connetquot river either waterside or under a gazebo. Sunday brunch features unlimited mimosas and champagne to accompany brunch items, such as eggs benedict, smoked Atlantic salmon, Alaskan crab legs or fresh fruit. Once again. Delicious. We went for Brunch on New Years. The food was delicious. The only thing i think i would add, is that there are no items outside of the brunch menu available. It is a limited menu so if you are a picky eater, you may want to check out the menu first. But this place remains a favorite, for sure.

Drift 82 is a gem! It is a unassuming building yet when you go inside it has a great view of the bay and the dock . The bartender and waitress Yasmine were so friendly and gracious giving us extra time to order while I got caught up in conversation with a good friend. The drinks were made perfectly to order. The spinach salad was top notch with almonds,berries, goat cheese with a yummy balsamic vinaigrette. The blackened mahi sandwich was very generous and perfectly cooked. The homemade chips were so thin and scrumptious and such a generous portion! My friend had penne with smoked salmon and a pink sauce which was delicious and al dente. It was such a wonderful atmosphere there of warmth, friendliness , food and a view! My new favorite!
