Hidden away on the beach with stunning panoramic waterfront views, Waves Restaurant offers an amazingly picturesque dining experience. As a restaurant, it is just perfect for casual group meals, a romantic dinner for two or for a more elaborate wedding – for which they are very well known. Their interior has an easy, coastal feel with comfortable furniture, letting the ocean take centre stage. With glassed walls allowing the maximums views of the ocean in front of you, the feeling of dining by the sea is as real as it gets.Their team of chefs have created a seasonal and mouth-watering menu that complements the relaxed, seaside feel of the venue. There are also delicious vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options and a daily specials board.     Our special occasions, Waterfront is the place my family always pick. Food has never disappointed, whether it be seafood or red meat.. if you want the best food in Melbourne this is the place.. we have no hesitation in leaving the staff a tip. They are top class.

    It was a great place to eat for Christmas lunch. We arrived about 45 minutes early and they accommodated us by getting a table for us straight away. Even though the menu was limited, it was very good for choice. The food was cooked beautifully and the staff were very attentive. The menu pricing was reasonable for a Christmas Day. I would highly recommend this restaurant and we will be going again in the new year.

    Wow, a great experience in fine dining matched to great seafood and impeccable service. Wine, Oysters, Calamari, Pork belly with a final Rock Lobster main… well done to all involved. A intimate evening where the Standards were kept very high all the way through to the powder rooms. Would recommend to anyone Brighton waterfront. MR
