Chinois haute cuisine is meant to be enjoyed and experienced in the proper fashion. Let the 4-floor rooftop enclave of rich textures and hues mesmerize you with waves of exotic dishes. The name "Hakkasan" pays homage to the ‘Hakka’ people from the New Territories of Hong Kong while ‘san’ is the respectful Japanese form of address. This same tradition and respect goes into every menu item and how they are each prepared and presented. Casadonna is a Coastal Italian-inspired waterfront restaurant developed in partnership between Groot Hospitality and Tao Group Hospitality. It is housed in the same Mediterranean revival building as Miami’s historic Women’s Club, located in the city’s burgeoning Edgewater neighborhood. In fact, the name “Casadonna” is derived from the setting—it is a fusion of Italian words translating to “house of the woman.”Riviera-style Italian cooking serves as the heart of Casadonna’s cuisine. This was hands down our favorite restaurant and meal of our trip! My fiancé and I come to South Beach a few times a year and are big foodies, so we always love to try new restaurants. Being on the waterfront and having a good seafood selection is what drew us in. The steak empanadas and seafood paradilla was amazing, probably the best prawns and empanadas we ever had. We will definitely come back on a future trip.

Hakkasan is always on my list when in Miami, this time we were there on a Tuesday night, which is pretty slow, service as always top notch. Definitely recommending boneless ribs, dim sums, crispy coconut shrimp, honey glazed chilean sea bass and dessert.. oh my god their desserts are out of this world !!! just don’t forget if you are parked with your own car and not a guest of the hotel, make sure to validate your parked car ticket, otherwise you will be charged $50+ vs $16
