Please note reservations are only available for the main dining room. The lounge and bar areas are first come first serve. Housed in a historic 19th century townhouse blocks from the waterfront, 219 Restaurant offers modern Southern cuisine with creole influence. Our menu focuses on classic dishes with a southern influence to make for an exceptional dining experience. We offer private dining rooms in addition to our elegant main floor and offer pre-fixed banquet menus suitable for any event. After your meal, you can unwind in our spacious second story Basin St. Lounge, and be entertained by world class blues/jazz music - seven nights a week - or head downstairs to our Bayou Room, for live DJs and dancing. Whether you're looking for a casual night out or something a little more intimate, 219 Restaurant has what you're looking for... seven days a week!

    Wonderful night out to celebrate Valentine’s Day at this beautiful restaurant. The owner and server we lovely and helped us orient the menu. Great cocktails and various mezze that kicked off the night and then lamb shank, two different salmon and one scallop entree to round out the meal.

    Omg so thankful to the waiter Hilton and his helper Franklin gusman we had an amazing lovely valentines dinner,,, we asked to change tables and Hilton was so fast at taking care of it, Chantal the manager so nice to bring us to the table , the steaks were so delicious and their wines ! You have to try their lava cake We had a super super great time Great service And delicious meal 🙏🏼thank you faranklin and Hilton

    Just wanted to commend the waiter for our table on Valentine's Day. My wife has seafood allergies, and the waiter ensured that he instructed her of food that were not entangled with seafood per her allergies. Excellent service and always checked on us regularly. Great service by our waiter named Jimmy.

    I started with the seasonal salad, with crispy shallots on top, added both crunchy texture and a delicious accent. Accompanied by the cast iron cornbread with herbed butter, well an explosion of flavor that I savored!
