Manalu is a new authentic Italian restaurant by Chef/Owner Marco Pontecorvo. The name was to combine all three of his family members names. MA for Marco, NA for Naomi, his daughter, and LU for Lucia, his wife. Manalu's goal is to bring a taste of Italy and a touch of Naples in the town, by serving authentic Italian cuisine and the original pizza Napoletana cooked in a brick oven. The atmosphere is very cozy and warm, perfect for family and friends. Manalu` also has a full bar and happy hour Mon-Fri from 4pm to 7pm. Happy hour also includes a food menu with delicious appetizers.

Chef Bryan Voltaggio found inspiration in a former Frederick car dealership showroom and transformed it into an open, airy space, with a long counter fronting an open kitchen serving modern American casual meals. Showroom serves Brunch seven days a week from 8am until 4pm and Dinner until 9pm Sunday through Thursday and 9pm Friday & Saturday. Adult beverages include boozy milkshakes, craft beers, wine, & signature cocktails.     Everything was wonderful! We started with cinnamon rolls which we all highly recommend. We had the buffalo chicken sandwich, burger, omelette of the day and chicken biscuit with egg and hash browns, everything was was delicious, flavorful and a generous portion. Our granddaughter had the chicken tenders and fries, also delicious. All of our food was presented beautifully, and excellent quality. We celebrated a birthday and were given a complimentary delicious cream puff with ice cream and raspberry sauce. We cannot say enough good things about the food, ambiance, service, server and every staff member we interacted with. Looking forward to dining here again soon. Highly recommend the Sunday Brunch. We have dined here numerous times for lunch and dinner and are always very pleased.

    The Tasting Room remains a wonderful place to dine. We had lunch there today, and the food was excellent, plus the service was attentive and friendly. The restaurant is also decorated very nicely for the holidays and has reupholstered the banquettes.

    The Martini and Hot Cocoa Flights were amazing!! As always the staff was attentive, pleasant and just FUN to be around! My wife and I had a great time at Dragon, can’t recommend it enough to everyone!! Go and enjoy the Holiday/winter themed cocktails and hot, delicious food!!
