We had an amazing time! Everything was excellent, we were a large group for a birthday and we ordered a lot of food. Every dish was great, nothing I wouldn’t order again. Our server, May, was great and knew exactly when to check on us, made good recommendations and obviously knew what she was talking about. Can’t recommend enough :) we could see the kitchen from where we sat and it was nice to see that everyone put a lot of passion and interest into what they were doing.

We dined here for brunch to celebrate my husband’s birthday, after two attempts to celebrate with family over the holidays were postponed due to illness of a number of family members. My husband chose brunch at the Distillery District and I suggested Cluny’s based on some great lunch and dinner experiences I had when I worked downtown. We travel this time from Richmond Hill and the drive was definitely worth it. Can’t say enough about the small plates and brunch options. Thank you!

I had an amazing dining experience at El Catrin. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. Mason, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail of our meal was perfect. Thank you for the beer in house draft beer suggestions. The food was absolutely delicious – everything we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I highly recommend trying the Baha Taco– it was a standout! Overall, a wonderful place for a meal, whether it’s a special occasion or just a casual outing. I’ll definitely be back soon. Thank you for the great experience!

Absolutely perfect evening celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Toronto in a long time. Everything from the food to service to ambiance - I couldn’t imagine a better place to celebrate a very special occasion. I will absolutely be telling friends about this place and plan to come back often. Can’t wait to have brunch here too!

The service and ambiance was great. Notable dishes were the challah and fluke and fennel. The fries were perfectly crispy and the broccoli was very flavourful. However, the ribeye was average, it lacked flavour but cooked properly yo medium rare.
