In Italian, the word, Secondo means “the second part of a duet.” When we opened Panico’s Bistro, we knew we wanted to eventually add some harmony to our original melody and so, Secondo is the continuation of our long-standing tradition to serve classic Italian cuisine in concert with Mediterranean influences right here in Cape May County. Nested beautifully on the bay, enjoy dinner and hand-handcrafted cocktails; inside in our sophisticated dining room or outside on our covered patio next to the harbor and water. Reservations recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.     We have dinner here occasionally and enjoy the food and ambiance. I saw they were having a special Christmas Eve dinner of the Seven Fishes so we made a reservation. It did not disappoint. We had a 10 course meal for $100 per person. The chef, Nick, made seven amazing fishes which also included a salad, intermezzo and dessert. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of food which was served. Such a wonderful night with awesome food and great staff.

    Brunch was so good! The food choices are limited but all good options. The break basket was a nice start, omelet was delish, & the bacon was amazing! Save room for the beignet tree! Love the decor & ambiance. Service was great also. Can’t wait to try dinner!

    I have been to the Avalon Gold Club numerous times for lunch. I enjoyed each visit. Today I was there for the Thanksgiving buffet. There were many food choices to pick from. Everything I had was absolutely delicious. Even though alot of people were seated the place was remarkably quiet - so you got to enjoy your meal and conversation with people at your table. I am returning twice in December - once for my birthday and the other Christmas Eve day and I look forward to each visit.
