Manor Hill Tavern occupies the historic Taylor’s Row in Old Ellicott City. We have one major focus: the popular German street food - schnitzel. We also have wursts made by local German meat market legend, Binkert's (Rosedale, MD). Other partnerships include a Black Forest Ice Cream Sandwich by Scoop & Paddle (Clarksville, MD).We use fresh meats and vegetables, never frozen. The pretzels are made by hand by an Army vet who learned to make pretzels in Germany after his service. The sauces are made from scratch. Our cocktail program features both popular and obscure German spirits. The wine program consists of small-production family-owned wineries in Germany and Austria. It was my 73rd Birthday. Table for 4. We thoroughly enjoyed out dinner, drinks, and ambiance. It was also our first time there for dinner. Would highly recommend. Food was delicious. Our waiter was awesome, attentive, and friendly, Will be back. Understand they serve an excellent brunch.

Our annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Furnace Inn was another exquisitely prepared feast. Delicious food, wine and atmosphere. Thank you to Chef Dan and his entire staff for a lovely day. A special thank you to Audrey. Your attentiveness was very much appreciated.

Always great drinks, a great meal and amazing service. The only complaint is that the lights over the pizza station were super bright and shining right towards our table. Might want to rethink the direction of them. Otherwise, as usual, a great experience.
