Dined here tonight with my Grama from out of town. Alex was our chef and he was literally amazing. Kudos to you Alex, what a great experience we had because of you. Had to wait an hour after our reservation time but everything was handled professionally. Thanks for a great Christmas meal experience, especially you Alex. Great job!

Another great experience at the Keg. The food was amazing, steaks all around. Coupled with the sides couldn’t ask for a better meal. Service was outstanding, seemed to take care of needs before needed. Fantastic

Our family came for an early Christmas Eve dinner. The food and service were superb. I highly recommend the artichokes and garlic bread for starters, although watching the five foot charcuterie board walk by was mouthwatering!

Everything was perfect! From the table that we requested to the excellent server to the wine and food. Your establishment knows how to make an evening out go smoothly! Thank you!

My wife, and our son and his girlfriend, had dinner at Shimogamo Chandler to celebrate our son’s first job. For the first time, we ate at a table, instead of at the sushi counter. Our server, Micah, was terrific. She clearly knew the restaurant, the menu, the food and the drinks. We started with an excellent sake, Ippongi Daiichi Gitai, that was presented by the bar manager, Matt. We ordered a huge assortment of mostly nigiri sushi; Madai (Sea Bream), Mejina (Opaleye Nigiri), Kamasu (Barracuda Nigiri), Kinmedai (Goldeneye Snapper), Aji (Jack Mackerel), Umi Masu (Ocean Trout), Hotate (Sea Scallop), Anago (Sea Eel), Ama Ebi (Sweet Shrimp), Baja Uni (Sea Urchin Sashimi), Santa Barbara Uni (Sea Urchin Gunkan). Micah had the chefs course our fish selections perfectly. After the sushi, we had the Hatcho Miso Duck, Yuzu Mushroom and Fried Shishito Peppers. For dessert, my son and I tried the Harvest in Uji and Matcha Hai cocktails. Everything we had to eat and drink was delicious. If I had known that they had Kakigori (Japanese Shave Ice) for dessert, I would have saved room for it. That’s one more reason to return for another meal, I guess.
