Created Tom Hill and Clare Lattin of Ducksoup in Soho and Little Duck in Hackney, Emilia is their version of a small Italian Osteria (transported to the Devonshire countryside) serving seasonal, everyday Italian inspired dishes using locally grown ingredients. If ever you're in Ashburton, Emilia really is the place to dine. My Fiancée and I had an incredible time watching the dishes be prepared by Danny and George - flawless from start to finish. Every single plate was a delight to eat - will be coming back 100%, even for years to come!

The food was great. The terrine starter was very, very good. We had pork shoulder from the grill and the lunchtime special which was a kind of pork casserole. Both really tasty. The side of garlicky cabbage was awesome. The wine selection was rather limited (2 reds, 2 whites, an orange and a fizz) and we liked the Pinot best.
