BOAT TOUR AND DINNERAvailable from Wednesday to Sunday for a dinner cruise that includes a 2- or 3-course meal. La Peniche is a restaurant located on the barge MV Riasc (La Peniche is French for barge) which is moored on the Grand Canal alongside Mespil Road between Baggot and Leeson Street bridges. Michelin-level plates at a reasonable price! The service is excellent and consistently outstanding over the years. Every dish was exceptional, though the dessert could use a bit of improvement—but nothing to complain about. Truly a fantastic chef and a top-notch team. Highly recommended!

the heating in the back space was intense or had to be turned off. there was no medium heat option. the starter for the scallops was disappointing but the restaurant acknowledged it so that was fair enough. overall the experience was lovely but i do prefer the tables in the old part of the restaurant as the outside was empty bar one or two other tables so the atmosphere around us wasn't great but we had a nice meal with family
