The food and experience here was exceptional per usual. They had a nightly special called The Crab Purse that was phenomenal. The food was superb as always!

Our dinner of crab flatbread and grilled chicken sandwich were delicious. The servers and management were very attentive. We felt like we were experiencing an episode of "Food Paradise!" We can't wait to eat at Glyndon Grill again.

My phone lighting up, I received a message from my overtly insecure late teenage daughters - "Bruh! We are underdressed!". Which suddenly put me in a panic; in my work polo, comfy leggings and beanie, I was not myself what I would call "shiny". However... Yes. After looking like an idiot trying to open the wrong door (they REALLY need to have a little light on that copper sign after dark), I slithered into the restaurant I had blindly booked for our mommy/daughter date. Welcomed warmly by three lovely hostesses, I suddenly realized I didn't need to care about my sneakers and sliding into the cozy booth, appearances no longer mattered. Caitlin was a delight! Super cute, bubbly and friendly - she was aces! Prattling off the daily specials... she did the chef proud. And though we had already scoured the menu throughout the day and were fairly settled on our choices, I did add the broccolini to my selection. The food was equally outstanding - crab cakes were full and yum, the chicken parmesan everything deliciously carby as I had hoped it would be and the salad the conscientious grazer ordered was large and wonderful. The best, however... the best... was grandma in a bowl - the bread pudding. Comforting, nicely heated, not too sweet and packed with raisins - oh! - we were fighting over who was going to take it home. I have already told my peeps next time we are in the area, this is where we are going (mainly because I had to be on my best mom behavior and support the mirage of a responsible driver but I was hard eyeballing that cocktail list). It was worth the two hour drive there and back both to have dinner with my beauties (who, by the way, were trying to talk me into going to Ihop for dessert... closed-minded youth *eyeroll*) and to experience Glenwood's. Thanks so much for the memory and exceptional calories.
