Sakura was established in 2009 as the first Japanese restaurant in Portsmouth. Since our opening night we have always strived to bring the taste of true Japanese cuisine to our customers, while adding friendly service, knowledge and a lot of enthusiasm for what we do.We have retained a lot of the features that made our restaurant popular in the Southsea area. These includes tasty food that comes in a great variety, and fast and reliable service. We strive to maintain our standards whilst constantly refining ourselves to meet the demands of every customer.

Please note - Sunday Lunch is unavailable until Sunday 23rd January. The Florence Arms has been an established pub in Portsmouth for decades. Refreshed and reopened in 2015 the pub offers traditional cask ales, craft beers and fine wines alongside traditional and quirky cocktails. The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)!     We had a wonderful family meal out at Sakura. We were early for our table and had to wait, but we were given a small table by the front door to sit and think about what we wanted to order. When our table was ready, and throughout our meal, we were attended to promptly and often by friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food came out incredibly fast and it was fresh, delicious and presented nicely. It's very clear this restaurant is popular as it was full the whole time, but because of the way it's laid out, we felt like we had our own private booth and we felt nice and cosy partitioned off from other diners. We were incredibly impressed by the service we received, despite it being so busy. When we left there was a queue out the door! We will definitely be back to this wonderful place.

    Told there would be an hours wait for food when we arrived even though we had booked as we were tight on time. They did manage to serve in time and food was very good.
