Our pan-Asian menu gathers influences of cooking styles from all around Asia; including Malaysia, Thailand, Japan, China, Indonesia and Vietnam. The design of the restaurant is influenced by some of our favourite places to eat and drink, it takes its cues from the street food ‘Hawker’ markets of Penang mixed with the reclaimed building feel of Budapest’s ruin bars. These places both have a magical feel, something that we’ve tried to recreate for the people of Blackpool to enjoy. Penang, Malaysia is an eclectic melting pot of various food styles, with influences from Indonesia, Thailand, India and China, dishes such as soup ramen and stone-baked donburi are two great examples of the depth in flavour, which can be created when different styles come together.

Blackpool has so many fantastic places to eat, but our delightful Palm Court restaurant is the place for a sumptuous, relaxing dinner. The Victorian dining room is full of grandeur and our restaurant team always go that little bit further to make serving a meal a magical experience. The views in the restaurant are spectacular, with sweeping vistas across the Fylde coast and the occasional heritage tram tootling by. Diners can soak in the scenery while enjoying fine dining from the table d’hôte menu that changes quarterly, according to the seasons. We also have a range of daily specials, with our chefs using locally sourced produce whenever possible to ensure that only the best and freshest ingredients are used. The restaurant has flexible seating arrangements, so we can cater for large parties and children are also well catered for, thanks to the family dining options.     Food was delicious, quick and hot. Would recommend the wings and the skewers, sauce is fabulous. Staff are lovely, the atmosphere was not too busy (Thursday) and got the cutest little ice-cream for a little birthday treat. Would recommend checking this place out x

    Christmas Eve meal for 5 foodie adults.Perfection from the moment we walked in to a young guy who checked us in,really friendly and warm,but efficient too.Food on point.5 clean plates for each course.Our waiter made us relaxed,he had the right amount of professionalism/cheeky banter.Christmas began on the right foot at The Cartford once again

    An excellent dining experience ! We have a Christmas dinner here every year, and it's so consistent. There are a few choices on the menu but we always opt for the traditional Christmas fayre - Prawn cocktail was served in a lovely sauce with crunchy bits, delicious, followed by an unusual Turkey Balloutine, really tasty with all the trimmings, nice cranberry sauce too ! Finished off with Christmas pud, sauce & ice cream , very yummy ! With our glass of white wine followed by a bottle of red, it was the perfect meal. Portions were just the right size, well cooked and presented with style. A lovely atmosphere and ambience, beautiful decorations, everyone happily chatting around you and enjoying themselves. Much credit to the staff who served us - smiling, chatty but still in their professional mode, nothing rushed, the right timings between courses, service was impeccable, in fact - Everything was PERFECT !! Thank you to The Grand.

    We had a fabulous meal here today. There was 8 friends who like to eat out on a regular basis. The food was absolutely gorgeous, I definitely recommend the beef steak. I tried the cauliflower starter to try something different and it was so tasty. Everything was perfect, the food, staff everything. We loved the pianist who made our afternoon very pleasant. We would recommend the white tower to anyone.
