Blacklock is a modern version of the Great British chophouse. Set in an old electricity substation on the site of London"s oldest meat market. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our real charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails that give back and wine on tap in our atmospheric subterranean chop mecca. Artur was an amazing server and extremely attentive to our table. He is a credit to the company. Also the complimentary cheesecake for my girlfriend’s birthday was 10/10 and I quote from my girlfriend “the best cheesecake I have ever had”. Keep up the good work!

Incredible venue - incredible atmosphere. We had the sharing steak at £150 for 1.2kg. The flavour was amazing We also opted for the creamed spinach and onion rings. The baked Alaska easily would serve 4 people. Lacked flavour in my opinion BUT was a memory. The entertainment on a Saturday night is also really worth the service charge. We then went into the vault. A very cool place.
