The menu takes influence from barbecue all over the world, smoking, roasting, charring and grilling, inspired by the smoked meats of great American pit masters; but cooked with a Modern British touch. This is true gem in Surbiton and I feel lucky that we have such an exquisite treat on our door steps. The food was exquisite and the service is impeccable and I think very fair in price and value. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place as everything about it is really special. The people who look after you are knowledgable and personable and nothing is too much trouble. You get excellent advice on pairing wines to go with your dishes and the whole experience is effortless and memorable. Have been doing an annual trip for Christmas for a few years now and have been on the odd ocassion at other times and will continue to do this as each time the experience is amazing.

It’s such a lovely restaurant. We went to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was the perfect place. The food choices were all tempting and it was hard to decide what to pick. But all our selections were delicious. And the service we got from Chelsea was charming, friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful afternoon.

Unfortunately there had been a fire before our visit which meant only the back of the restaurant was open so I can't judge this as a normal visit. Wasn't great having to walk through the smoking area to leave which was the lasting memory.
