We work with first arrived, first servedpolicy. Thank you for your understanding. The kitchen closes at 9am on Monday and 9.30pm during the rest of the week and at 3.30pm on Sunday. Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs. Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm. Tasting menus are not available outside of these times.If you cannot find a table, please contact the restaurant team direct as not all tables are available to book online. We are long-standing customers of The French Table. We had the Tasting Menu which had seven courses each one being superb, the best being the last with a quite superb pistachio cheesecake. The service was very attentive and were excellent in clearing up after I had accidentally spilled my glass of wine with the minimum Of fuss.

Meeting our son and his wife for a birthday dinner. Food and service were excellent. The tiramisu was the best I’ve eaten since our honeymoon in 1988. Will definitely visit again.

We really enjoyed our visit to EFES. As always we received a warm welcome, without exception the team here are very friendly and attentive. The food was great, and our daughter the Birthday girl received a piece of chocolate cake, accompanied by the whole team singing and clapping to make the occasion extra special. Looking forward to visiting again with our friends in December.
