Carlos@b&v brings the finer side of dining and service to this unique little part of North London, on the Green in Winchmore Hill, a stone's throw from the mainline station of the same name and a short drive from Southgate on the end of the Piccadiily Line. Carlos himself is a restauranteur with flair, having built a reputation in the area over 30 years and so his experience with executing a dynamic and slick establishment brings much to be excited about. Guests will get that familiar 'welcome back' feeling even if they happen to be newcomers. The interiors are comfortably chic but inviting, with a warm ambience and the atmosphere is busy and vibrant. Live music and niche little magic entertainers are a regular occurrence. With an open alfresco feel in the summer, looking out on to the Green itself and a pavement terrace in warmer months too. We were welcomed and looked after throughout lunchtime by the staff, even though they were rushed off their feet catering for several large company groups having their Christmas lunches. Despite the large numbers, the food was superb. We have been to Carlos B&V several times in the past when staying locally to look after our grandchildren - it is a treat for all the family.

Yet another wonderful evening spent at Marcus Kitchen & Bar. From the second we entered to the moment we left, the ambience and service was second to none and the aromas of the next dishes being cooked were just heavenly. This evening we tried the salmon gnocchi and it didn't disappoint, absolutely delicious as was the fish soup. Generous portions served with love and pride, just like Mamma would have made.

We booked a table for 12 teenagers to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. Everything went so well. The pizzas were delicious and such good value compared to other pizza places. Service was personal and exceptional. I didn’t take her name but she really helped to make it a special occasion. I hope she enjoyed the slice of matcha birthday cake! The restaurant was clean, bright and had a lovely ambience. Perfect way to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday after a fun activity. Thank you kindly.
