Grow is hidden haven in Hackney Wick with a heated and covered terrace next to the River Lea. The menu is inspired by Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on sustainability. Our menu is primarily plant-led but we also offer ethically sourced meat options. As well as being a cosy spot for brunch, lunch, coffee and chat, you can expect a broad range of live music & performances on weekday evenings and DJ led events on the weekends. Whatever you’re after, Grow provides an escape from the hustle and bustle of busy city life.

Inspired by yakitori izakayas, Big Night is going to be putting seasonal British-ish produce on sticks and cooking it on our charcoal grill. The food will be simple, loud and fun, perfect to be eaten with a beer in hand and friends at your side.The menu will draw on a variety of influences rather than pretending to adhere to the concept of an authentic cuisine (this is not a Japanese restaurant). With respect to traditions, we will be cooking with integrity and creativity with ingredients and flavours that we love and are passionate about, in a way that is innovative rather than traditional, and most importantly, tasty tasty delicious. We’re talking lamb hearts, smoked beetroots, pickled mussels, seasonal kimchis, miso banoffee.We want everyone to feel at home here, a place for people to come together, the tables will be communal, you'll be asking your neighbour to pass the chilli oil and cheersing the whole table with a round of shots and sauerkraut.     Great atmosphere, food and decor were great. we were offered a free Polaroid photo by the manager because of Valentine’s Day which was a nice touch. The staff were amazing and so quick. Overall great place.

    My waitress was very lovely. I wish I could put her name here, but I forgot to ask for her name, but we were late to our booking for the restaurant that other people booked the same table as us so instead of them kicking us out  she put us in the lounge so you could have more time and celebrate my birthday the way I wanted it so I rate it a five star love it,really enjoyed my birthday. thank you

    Hi I had a good time and would of given 5 star but because we had been out on table by the stairs toilets etc I had people pushing my chair and bashing into me constantly I did ask to be moved but was told as you can see we are fully booked and no alternative seating available This did spoil our evening and to be totally honest we left earlier than anticipated and we would of preferred to of spent our money elsewhere
