The word Bagatelle comes from the French and means "a trifle or a little nothing", often referring to a light, fun, yet not too serious spring time romance. The French brought their history of fine cuisine and their love of wine to the Caribbean Islands. It is in this tradition that we have combined our French heritage, southern hospitality and the indigenous tastes of the Florida Keys into the meals we prepare today. The banana chicken and Gnocchi dishes were amazing. The caramelized bananas and walnuts were delicious with the chicken and rice. The blue cheese cream sauce on the gnocchi was divine. Highly recommend both entrees.

Visiting Key West for a few days, and walked by this restaurant in the morning and made the decision to visit for dinner. We started by sharing the crab cake which was delicious and full of crab and not fillers. Even the sauce was amazing. Also shared a delicious caesar salad before moving on to the main course. My date had the snapper special and I had the swordfish. Both were amazing. Our server was very friendly, but could have been slightly more attentive, such as refreshing our prosecco when we ran low.

Juan was an entertaining and skilled chef and really connected with our group. Our waiter was fantastic. We come every year when we are in Key West and we had another great experience tonight.

From the moment we walked in, we loved this little gem! We had a reservation for 5pm and were able to pick our seats. We were immediately greeted by our server who was fabulous! Their menu is a chefs tasting and you are presented with options for four courses. The lobster and ceviche were my favorite. However all of our options we ordered were very good! We will definitely go back! Thank you for a fantastic date night.
