We set out to create the kind of establishment we'd love to find in one of the UK's most beautiful cities, one where old-fashioned hospitality is valued, food is delicious and where beautiful surroundings can be found hidden around every corner.From breakfast where we serve our unique Beforenoon Tea - the breakfast edition of afternoon tea - to lunch which includes Assembly House classics and grazing boards, we're open seven days a week. We're most famous for our themed afternoon teas which change regularly and are served from noon until last service at 3.30pm daily. We had a lovely lunch- food was very tasty and good value. Service was excellent- the waitress was attentive but also gave us time… we never felt rushed and enjoyed just being there! A really good experience- it felt special. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely meal after a long walk at Blickling Hall. Warm and welcoming with our 4 dogs . The food was delicious, our party had fish and chips, the plaice schnitzel and sausage and mash. They were all served piping hot and very generous portions.
