Toku’s cuisine is predominantly Japanese with influences from China, Korea, and South East Asia. Ingredients and cooking techniques throughout the world create the Modern Asian menu. Owners Gillis and George Poll have dined all over the world, and have come across a variety of dishes that have really impressed them, “the best of the best.” According to Gillis, “We put together our favorites and added our own unique twists to them.” George emphasizes the menu’s ease and variety. “It’s a straightforward, casually written menu which allows you to dine any way that you’d like.” Guests may enjoy traditional meals with an appetizer, entree and dessert, or dine exclusively on sushi. My friends and I went here for lunch yesterday and absolutely loved the entire experience. The food was delicious - I had the Impossible Burger; the burger was fantastic and the fries were crispy, thin, and still hot. My friends really enjoyed their meals, too. And the apple crisp dessert was so tasty and perfectly autumnal. The vibe there is great and the service was excellent. I look forward to go back again!

Always a good time the food is excellent. The truffle pizza is my favorite. It’s a little loud, but the atmosphere is fun so you don’t mind it so much.

Always an incredible experience when we go there with our midshipmen from the US Merchant Marine Academy. They make us feel at home and always thank our midshipmen for their service. This is so important to us because none of us live in the local area. This past weekend we went to celebrate one of our midshipmen's birthdays and the owner graciously provided our large party free desserts to share. Our meals and drinks are always superb. So grateful to have found this place, it's like a second home for us when we visit. We will be going there for many years to come.
