Casual, coastal restaurant in the North Loop. Reservations taken for dining room only, patio seating is available on a first come, first serve basis. Please check in with hosts upon arrival for patio seating.Although named for the boats used to catch lobster, Smack Shack was launched as a food truck in 2010 serving lobster rolls from a land-locked downtown Minneapolis parking lot. Owner Josh Thoma had a great recipe and a belief that appetite for fresh lobster in the Twin Cities was as strong as any coastal city.Smack Shack is committed to serving sustainable seafood and is a current partner in the Minnesota Zoo’s Fish Smart program. Sustainable seafood is wild caught or farm raised seafood that has established practices to ensure the long term growth and thriving populations of seafood with limited harm to the environment.

Stray Dog is a comfortable yet fun take on your traditional bar and grill in Nordeast Minneapolis. Fantastic burger styles with hand-cut fries or tater tots.     What a breath of fresh air! We went for a birthday celebration. The staff immediately kicked it off by honoring our celebrant with a glass of cava. The service and exceptional experience continued from there. On service, our server was the best we've had in a decade at least. She kept an eye on us, stopped by when needed and never left us looking for her. She also joined our celebration, making it extra special. On food, everything was beautifully presented, high quality, well prepared and fairly priced. Drinks were absolutely delicious. And the environment was fun and energetic without being overpowering. Finally an experience the way is supposed to be. Thank you!!!!

    The noise from batting simulators during bingo is extremely annoying. I know the simulators came first but perhaps fill the ones farthest away from bingo caller .

    This was our first time going here, and we will be going back in the future. The waitress was very friendly, and even comped my wife's beer since my wife had mentioned it was our anniversary and our first time there.
