We had 2 dinners off the valentine menu. Started with blue crab soup and small wedge salad. Both very good. Entrees we had were phyllo salmon. Tender and amazing done medium. Other was lobster ravioli with parm crusted shrimp. Again delicious. Definitely will go back. Servers were great as well.

Great dinner as always. Steaks were cooked to order, service was great from our sever Nick. Laid back atmosphere with tables spaced so you don't feel crowded even when the restaurant is full.

I have lived in Pittsburgh for 10 years and have visited Altius only 2 times for special occasions. This visit was one of them. I had a reservation and had mentioned a window seat that was honored by the team. We had the lobster gnocchi, chilled oysters and crab toast for appetizers, and skipped mains. All three dishes were delicious and well presented. For drinks, we had a red and white wine from their selection, along with two cocktails (a winter sangria and an old fashioned inspired drink called The Monks Elixir). We picked a coffee inspired desert called Coffee Break, which had coffee ice cream and mousse. Overall, we had a great time, our server was very kind and knowledgeable, and the staff made us feel comfortable. The view, food, and service were 10/10

Very nice place. Cocktails were delicious and the meal was over the top! Owner was very nice as was all the staff.
