Located on the charming town’s busy High Street, the newly-renovated Piccolino restaurant, guests will dine in the most divine setting. Boasting glamorous wood panelling, diamond cut mirrors, a spacious marble-topped bar area, and greenery throughout the main restaurant guests can relax watching the chefs in action in the open kitchen. I had lunch here with a friend to celebrate her birthday. We had a delicious meal, with excellent, friendly but not intrusive service and to our surprised delight my friend was brought a delicious complimentary cake on a plate with Happy Birthday written on it . Will certainly return.

Great food, solid portions and lovely attentive staff. Food is priced well on the whole - Sunday roast you can request as many bottomless sides as required but you get a healthy amount to start. Question marks over the drinks pricing however, £5.50 for diet cokes is a bit OTT for me!
