Christmas lunch with sister and brother in law. Ordered from Christmas menu. We all had different main meals and all of them were really nicely presented, tasted lovely and served by two young ladies who were both extremely pleasant. Nothing to fault. Have been twice before with my sister and we're never disappointed.

To finish, we indulged in a decadent cheeseboard paired with a selection of liqueurs and expertly crafted cocktails – a perfect end to an extraordinary dining experience. We had the lunch menu. The food was great, very hot and obviously freshly prepared. Big portions and very tasty. The service was great, too. Daniel could not have been more helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Great food, drink and service. Such a shame that the storm brought a power cut to the village before we got desert and coffee. Candles lit and open fire made for a lovely atmosphere.
