Crafted wood wainscoting throughout the room and soft ambient lighting from above highlight the white-washed, wood floors to further enhance the bistro-like setting. New stitched-leather booth seating lines the dramatic floor to ceiling wall of windows overlooking Avery Street and two high-top u-shaped booths frame the space on either end. Lovely experience on Christmas day! The food was tasty and fresh. We had the fried calamari, shrimp with snow peas, Mongolian beef, and szechuan string beans, all of which I can recommend. Servers were friendly and efficient. Very fair prices.

Blu is a calm oasis I. A very busy part of town. The tables are well spaced out, the ambience and lighting just perfect for dining and the views are excellent. The food is good and somewhat conventional. But the service is really, really good. Our server, Val was knowledgeable, gentle, unobtrusive and there when we needed him. Rather old school but a rare treat compared to most restaurants in the area. Overall, we had a great experience.
