    This is such a wonderful restaurant. The servers are  so gracious and the food is excellent. My partner had the fish.((sea bass) and it was perfectly cooked and had a cool rice called) forbidden rice). I got the steak and potatoes on the bone. What they do is take the prime spec rib bone which is about 6” x 2”. They leave the fat in and cook iit with mashed potatoes on top A delicious wine and butter sauce. totally excellent. The greens had a bechamel sauce which was delicious as well This is a sophisticated meal Thesteak was perfectly cooked and tender The. Cabernet was great and desserts were great. This is a much go to restaurant if you are a foodie.

    First time visit to Canela’s and we were not disappointed! The service, food and ambiance were all wonderful and lived up to the highly rated reviews that brought this small neighborhood restaurant to our attention. Restaurants on Market can be deceiving at times but this one should not be missed! Bravo!
