Ten is a modern Japanese tapas style restaurant, centrally located on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall. Since 2006, Ten has served a variety of both traditional and original cuisine. The Good Sport delivers classic tavern fare, local craft beer and a sense of familiarity in a warm and relaxed setting – the perfect pre- and post-game spot, or a reprise after a long workday.     This place never fails to offer excellent food and wine with friendly and efficient service. It is one of the very best fine dining restaurants in Charlottesville. The changing menu always seems to feature a good range of classic dishes that are very well prepared.

    We enjoy this restaurant, especially before or after a UVA sporting event. The food has always been very good but often they are under staffed to handle the crowd so it can be a little slow. The menu could offer a few more choices or at least a few specials. It doesn’t change much. No real dinner options basically soup, salad or sandwich. Nice atmosphere.

    The food was outstanding. Everything was so full of flavors. Avocado tempura, sea bass, out of this world with flavor. Even the case was a surprising taste experience. For a special occasion, there is no place better that I've experienced. Stephen is a wonderful server, and very helpful with suggestions when we got stuck
