Established in 2008, the namesake is Transfer Pharmacy, a classic cornerstone drugstore from a bygone era that for decades supplied a thriving community with goods and services as evidenced by the stained glass windows still in place. The pharmacy was appropriately named for the constant activity that took place just outside - the boarding, departures, and transfers of the countless daily commuters of the time. The tradition of a reliable cornerstone establishment continues today, as Transfer Pizzeria delivers a unique dose of delicious pizza, drink, atmosphere, and friendly service. Drawing upon the rich history of Milwaukee’s craftsmanship we present, Craft. The history of Milwaukee dates to the early 17th and 18th centuries when traders first began to travel through and eventually settle in what is now Milwaukee. Deep European roots brought craftsmen and skilled hands to the area and to this day an ethic of hard work and determination inhabits the spirit of the city. Early on the area was full of coopers, butchers, shoemakers, and farmers. Milwaukee’s beer history started in the 1840’s, driven by the presence of the frontier settlement near the Great Lakes. Immigrants, including Welsh and German settlers, yearned for the native beers of their homelands, so they embarked on making delicious craft beer with techniques from their native countries. Craft features a cuisine including locally sourced foods, hand crafted cocktails, and a vast selection of local beer.

We haven’t been to this location since it was Pieces of Eight back in the 80!s. Harbor House is such a great reimagining of the space. The decore and layout is elegant and energetic with the open kitchen concept well executed. Service was above and beyond, with the kitchen and staff offering to make a perfectly executed off-menu item (shrimp alfredo) for my daughter on a busy Saturday night. I asked for a menu change as well, and they happily agreed. The food was all A+, with all 6 people greatly enjoying their meals and wine selections.

The pizza, staff, and live music was phenomenal at Transfer Pizza. I had the pizza of the month and wished I would’ve ordered the larger size to have leftovers. The staff were engaging and thoughtful. The tiramisu was a great treat at the end of my meal.
