The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. The White Oak Burger is a community favorite and has been recognized as the best burger in Howard County for several years. The outdoor patio is dog friendly with a special dog menu. The bar has 42 rotating craft beers with a wide selection of styles with a free-to-join mug club. The greeting, food and service were excellent. I had the lobster grilled cheese and fries. The server was kind enough to give me a taste of a wine to help me decide between two. The decor and architecture are warm and upscale feeling. The interior is gorgeous.

Excellent service - Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food. Not super crowded when we were there which is why I selected quiet, I have been there when live music was playing and it was too loud for me, but this trip was excellent.

From the greeting at the door to our coats being retrieved for us at the end of the meal we enjoyed every minute of our dining experience. All courses were outstanding and the service was impeccable. We definitely will dine here again... outstanding in every way.
