The White Oak Tavern is a family-owned business, operated by a brother & sister that are Ellicott City locals. The menu includes seasonal scratch made items, sustainable meats & produce from local farms and purveyors. This was my first time at this restaurant. The decor is very inviting, tasteful, and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and accommodating. Food was fantastic!! The lobster ravioli appetizer was superb 👌-- very flavorful and just enough to activate the palate for the main course. The short rib pappadelle was tasty, but for me it lacked "kick" Great experience overall.

Excellent service - Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious food. Not super crowded when we were there which is why I selected quiet, I have been there when live music was playing and it was too loud for me, but this trip was excellent.

I love this restaurant. The mains were a little late but the manager came to apologize before I could say a thing and offered free dessert. Just the acknowledgment meant everything. Food is fantastic. I will absolutely be back many times.
