It’s always a pleasure to dine at the River Cafe. It’s the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion!! We had the privilege to be seated in the area served by the excellent captain Bernie. He is friendly, attentive, and professional!!

Gorgeous setting. We had river views in summer there are outside tables. A stylish restaurant with a central bar area. The food was fast and delicious and had a great vegetarian selection. About 5mins walk from York Street. Really can’t recommend this place enough.

We enjoyed a wide variety of foods, starting with the spicy edamame with Peruvian corn which was outstanding. The snapper with the chimichurri sauce was a special and was outstanding. We did the sashimi and sushi plates and added on some rolls. We also had the miso black cod, which we would highly recommend.

Went for dinner on Christmas. Service was the best. Our server spent time talking with us! Food was 5 star. I had filet mignon and my husband had rack of lamb. Both delicious and perfectly prepared. Wonderful ambience.

Eat at this restaurant regularly and I’ve never had a bad experience or meal. Last night being two days before Christmas it was very busy so noise level was high. Had a great meal , sea bass and short rib bolognese. Highly recommended. Service was excellent.
