At KELP we take our time to make sure the food that goes on your plate is a fresh and local as possible. We source our seafood to be specifically Scottish and sustainable. We pride ourselves on using local suppliers for all our food. The fish people supply our fresh seafood daily. Our bread comes from Soja bakehouse, a family owned bakery in Cumbernauld. Our meat comes from ABR butchers, based in Bearsden. Our executive chef, Christopher Hutchison, creates amazing, innovative dishes to be enjoyed and shared with friends and loved ones. We now have an AA rosette for 2023/2024 to highlight his and the teams amazing work. We are located on Cowcaddens Road, just around the corner from our sister restaurant, Ardnamurchan Restaurant and Bar and a stones throw from the theatre royal. Perfect for a meal before a show. My sister and husband were staying at the hotel so we decided to meet up and book a table for dinner. My husband and I arrived early and had a drink in the lounge bar this lovely waitress came to take our order we had been serving by her in past visits and she was a true professional but I didn’t get her name she is a real asset. My sister and husband came down and we went into the restaurant welcome warm and friendly. The waitress was wonderful as was the food and service we had a lovely evening thank you.

Second time visiting Number 16 and it yet again did not disappoint. Such a relaxed atmosphere created for a place thats serving some of the most delicious food out there. Festive menu offered great variety for all. Cooked to perfection. Service was superb. All around great place for a special occasion. Will be back soon.
