Nick Zheng, founder of a new restaurant in Westerleigh named Mountain Fusion has been loving all different types of food since childhood. He always enjoyed cooking for his families and friends and had a dream to open his own restaurant. Upon meeting his head sushi chef Ivan Wang and Head kitchen Chef Qing Cao. His dream became a reality. Ivan has about 10 years experience in Sushi. Over the years, Ivan has been seeing how the sushi in the United States changed, he does his own creations. Qing also has over 6 years experiences in cooking. He was a chef in China. After he moved to the States, he kept his career being a chef, this time, he wanted to try something new. He started as a chef in a Japanese restaurant, with all the skills and experiences he developed in China. He learned fast and became a master chef. Mountain fusion has a team of food enthusiasts and work closely to bring the healthy and delicious traditional, modern Japanese cuisine to Staten Island.

Campania Coal Fired Pizza specializes in exactly what its name implies: delicious pizza cooked in a coal oven to produce a unique smoky texture to the crust and toppings.     The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Everything was cooked to perfection. The ribeye steak, the scallops, the fried calamari, the chicken marsala. (They baked clams were delicious, but very small.) The meatball appetizer was a stand out and we were also greeted by Richie who told us it was his grandmother‘s recipe with six cheeses- that is a must when ordering an appetizer. We didn’t order dessert because we were going back to my aunts house for coffee, but they surprised us with pistachio shots, which were absolutely delicious!!!! The waiters were extremely attentive and accommodating. Our group of five were treated like special guests. We were with my cousins who were visiting from Italy and they made sure to dedicate a song to them at dinner! I highly recommend Metropolis to anyone looking for a great dinner. The steak and seafood were both outstanding!! We will be sure to go back!

    That was a busiest Saturday night I have ever seen. Barely made reservation for 5 people, but table was ready when we arrived. Service was wonderful and the food excellent ! Red sangria is boosey and tasty . Worth every penny. When we were leaving there was a line to get in on the street.
