Melding the best offerings of Chef Tyson Cole’s first three restaurants (Uchi Austin, Uchiko, and Uchi Houston), the menu includes hot and cold tastings, makimono, yakimono, tempura, sushi, and sashimi. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. Patio seating is weather permitting and may be rescheduled in the event of inclement weather. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

Sister is a restaurant project from Duro Hospitality. Sister will live in the halls of the famed Grape, a Dallas icon for over 40 years. She will serve loosely Italian-inspired neighborhood fare, wood-fired meats and fish, daily house made pasta, and lightly Mediterranean inspired cuisine. The design will feel like a family Trattoria that has grown through the years including collected memorabilia giving the space a quirky and playful feeling. Sister will be a relaxed and comfortable neighborhood spot for every day. Sister is open seven nights per week.

Open for over 20 years, Oishii Owner & Executive Chef Thanh Nguyen serves some of the most creative comfort sashimi, sushi, and specialty rolls (including many rice-less and gluten-free options) in Dallas.     For so long I grieved the loss of The Grape. And when I found out a new restaurant would take its place I knew it would have to be something amazing. Only Sister could be the follow up we all were hoping for! From the friendly greeting when we walked in, switching the napkin out depending on the color of the pants. The amazing cocktails, delectable Focaccia, meatballs, pastas, steak, broccoli and THOSE CARROTS. Best carrots in the area!! It was all so delicious and Taylor cared for us all so well! Our favorite place to celebrate friendship and life. Thank you for always making not just the experience and ambience fabulous, but to the kitchen staff that makes all the food - the real Hero’s!

    Fantastic experience overall. Food was exquisite, thoughtful and well composed. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better meal. Drink selection didn’t feel as up to par as the food menu. Basic options. Bathroom is up an entire flight of winding stairs which is fine, but be cautious in heels. They were out of toilet paper, so that felt overlooked. Bar with live music ramped up toward the end of our dinner but wasn’t overly loud and soundly lively as we were exiting.
