Market Place Kitchen and Bar is a traditional American restaurant, operating with a theme of preparing all cuisines with organic and sustainable ingredients. The restaurant has a decent wooden décor, constructed with 300-years old barn wood from Brook Field's farm. Market Place Kitchen and Bar has a full-service banquet with modern business facilities for corporate events and meetings. Alex Lowe, the executive chef, has prepared a healthy menu for guests in Market Place Kitchen and Bar. Surf and turf is the specialty meal here. It is prepared with pork belly meat braised in duck fat for four hours. It is served with apple marmalade, caramelized scallops and house made kale chips. The ‘famous rigatoni Bolognese GF' pasta is prepared with sweet Italian sausage, milk-fed veal, pomodoro tomato cream, fresh ricotta, grana padano parmigiano cheese and fine herbs. The big mistake we made was to forget to order the pasta made in the Parmesan cheese wheel. The calamari was great, the stuffed pollo was perfect and the halibut special was a little pricey (always ask how much a special cost before ordering it) but delicious.

We were greeted at the door and seated immediately. The ambiance was natural and magically perfect! The food arrived fairly quickly, fresh and tasty. The staff are all friendly and we didn’t feel pressured to leave. The cafe is situated within a beautiful store setting which works great in my opinion. I purchased nice faux candles in the store section before leaving. I can honestly say we had a wonderful time walking around and looking at all the items and plantings they had available before leaving. Would I recommend this restaurant? Absolutely!!!

We had a work luncheon with about 12 people. The staff was on it, we did not have to wait for anything we asked for and the food was amazing.
