I always love True Food, but our latest experience was exceptional. Our waiter, Jesse, was not only pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable - he also made sure to take excellent care of me and my many food sensitivities. Not for a second did I feel I was being a pain. He listened carefully, came back and asked questions, and even caught a mistake the kitchen had made!

My wife and I dined here for both dinner and then brunch the next day. Both were great. I had the diver scallops and they were superb, maybe in the top 3 I’ve had. The Burratta appetizer was plenty for 2 and very good. For brunch I had the chicken skillet. Very flavorful.

I was immediately drawn to the Christmas menu and my group agreed it looked great. We were seated at a table for 8 (we were a party of 6) which was great because we promptly ordered tons of food! We ate family style. I prefer this so that I can taste a bit of everything. Most everything was notable! The only negatives were the yams having no flavor and the overabundance of potatoes! We had two servings of mashed and an order of au gratin. It may have been nice to substitute a salad or veggies for all that mashed. Either way, it was a yummy holiday dinner. Loved the cocktails! I booked for some friends of mine I knew would be as excited about the ambiance & architecture as I was & Stellar Jay did not disappoint. The view was phenomenal for city atmosphere & I can’t wait to return in the spring for warm weather patio vibes. I wished they had an outdoor fire pit, that’s something I would have loved as an addition. The menu was unique & the food delicious. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly & offered great recommendations. I loved watching the chiefs prepare the food openly & the roasted fire aroma was intoxicating. Really enjoyed this visit!

Amazing experience! Started with the prosciutto, a pinot grigio, and had the tagliatelle, followed by the torta. It was all so wonderful! HIGHLY recommend the tagliatelle!! I sat at the bar, where Caesar waited on me, and he was exceptional. Highly attentive but not over-bearing; he was personable and friendly. I loved the ambiance as well. It should also be said, Caesar went above and beyond, and is an expert in his craft! Make a reservation, and you will not be disappointed.
