Midwest Italian restaurant focusing on house made pastas, utilizing vegetables from Chef Joe Frillman’s family farm.     I took an old friend to Capital Grille tonight to celebrate his birthday. When making the reservation, I was asked if this was a special occasion. When we arrived, the table was tastefully decorated and a birthday card from the restaurant awaited. Our server, Shavon, was terrific and attentive. After a delicious dinner, a beautifully decorated desert tray and candle arrived. I could not have arranged a better two-person birthday party for my friend. Thanks 'Capital Grille'!

    We had a reservation for 2 people at 6pm. However, I’m not sure why they even let you make a reservation because they paid no mind to it - never even asked for a name. We didn’t sit until about 6:40pm which was slightly frustrating because we had plans after dinner for my date’s birthday, but I guess now we know. Once sat, the service and the food were great. The drinks took longer to arrive than the appetizer (about 15 mins), but all the food came out hot and the portions were large. It was a very busy night and you could tell the staff was working hard.
