Incredible food, cozy atmosphere, amazing service - so attentive & kind. Perfect date night experience. Couldn’t have asked for better. For specifics, we shared a lot of food & drink: - Sangiovese & Ruby port were delicious - Burratta starter was our favorite, my partner also liked the chicken livers in bacon but I don’t eat much liver so I’m not a good judge - it seemed amazing if that’s your thing :) Also had bread & EVO - Gnocchi & tomatillo - both incredible; tonarelli was very rich & decadent, gnocchi was lighter but still full of flavor - shared the lamb main, it was fall of the bone perfect - shared the chocolate dessert, was similar to a lava cake - very rich & delicious Everything was really divine. You will enjoy this experience so much!

The food here is a fascinating eclectic version of Mediterranean food different from what we have had before. Sauces are especially good combining savory and sweet. The Tabouleh was delicious as were the Cypriot Lamb chops. Chubby pita a great vehicle for hummous , Muhammara and Smokey yogurt. we will be back to try all the other intriguing dishes on the menu.

Waterbar is my favorite seafood restaurant in SF. The food is so fresh, beautifully presented and with impeccable service. The view is lovely also. It is my go to restaurant for any kind of celebration. Thank you for all you do to make my visit special, from briny oysters, to lovely cocktails.

Muy recomendable. La comida realmente rica y de muy buena calidad. El único pero lo pondría en la escasez de las raciones y en que por ese motivo diría que es un poco caro en relación a la cantidad de comida que se sirve por plato. Pero aún y con eso, repetiremos. El camarero que nos atendió era de origen mexicano y nos explicó y recomendó muy acertadamente. A parte de lo amable y profesional que fue. Un 10 para el y felicidades a Anzu por contar con el pues creo que fue clave para que nuestra experiencia fuera tan satisfactoria.

I brought my family into SF for a few days of shopping and fun to break up the holidays. We live in Marin and are picky about driving into the city for dinner. Being a native born San Franciscan and resident in SF / Marin my whole life, La Mar proved a great pick. My wife, my two grown daughters and I will definitely return. La Mar - great spot and thanks for a wonderful dinner!
