Finally a FRESH SEAFOOD DOWN TO EARTH CLASSY Restaurant that provides the ultimate in freshness in every ingredient tasted this night. My wife and I frequent seafood restaurants all over the Pacific including Maui and other neighboring islands. Only one that came close is Merrimans' not Mama's. The Fishery is the Real Deal and Thanks to the wonderful mind and hard work of the Owner and its' hard workers and especially the Chef who have nailed this hard to please type of cuisine and preparation.... Christmas night, dining outdoors on the patio, cozy heater next to us, tender prime rib and hot mashed potatoes, a good wine, and just enough attention from our server, Maurice. What's not to love? Cohn family dining in beautiful San Diego! Happy New Year, everyone! (I did ask them to please turn down the volume on the...uh... lively Christmas music so we could visit, and they promptly obliged.)

Amazing waiter, food, wine and ambiance. They were beyond accommodating even though we were 20 mins late for our reservation. They let us stay past closing to finish our wine. Lovely experience all around. Thank you!

My family and I had reservations at 6:30pm the day before Christmas Eve. It was crowded and they were running behind. The hostess (Tiffany) was calm, professional and helpful even though many customers were asking her questions constantly. She was even bussing tables. We had another table of relatives (celebrating my birthday) and she was able to get us near each other. Which she didn't have to do. Once we were seated, our chef Chris was outstanding. He was funny, entertaining and the food was outstanding. Our wait staff was also wonderful but I've forgotten their names. My family and I will definitely return to Benihana's.

We were so pleased that Madison has brought back their delicious jambalaya! Having grown up in New Orleans, I can say that Madison‘s jambalaya is some of the best around! Also loved the live jazz, friendly staff, and good vibe of the place!
