Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn is certainly Ye Olde, even by the standards of British country pubs. The building has been there for at least 700 years – nobody knows exactly how long it has stood on what is now Ludlow Road – and has been a pub since 1740, serving the traveller, the public of Bridgnorth and all others who entered their doors. The menu now is classically British, with a full AGA carvery, a gastro menu and a full wine list that takes in the best of local ingredients.     A brilliant lunchtime experience. Home made soup and a really great carvery. All with that special atmosphere you only get with ancient oak beams and an open fire. Staff were efficient and attentive. Highly recommended.

    Excellent in every way. The whole experience from booking through to paying the bill was superb. Food is the best & the people really do make it special. It’s the absolute perfect place to go for a birthday celebration. Me & the wife like to play a game at the end & guess how much the bill is going to be. It was a good £25 less than she thought it was going to be so wed class that as excellent value for money. Booked in again for a few weeks time. Looking forward to it

    Amazing! We had a 9 month old baby and they were kind and accommodating, the service was especially outstanding. Food was amazing portions and loved there was no alcohol either. Lovely atmosphere, makes you feel very special. Only thing was slightly cold so would wear something warm. 10/10 would come again with and without the baby!

    Our first visit to the Lesters Arms and couldn’t fault it. Great food, good selection on the menu and all staff were pleasant. Will be visiting again.

    Food was amazing and all but one person who served us were outstanding. Drinks order was wrong twice and the gentlemen who dealt was it wasn’t very willing after the second mistake. HOWEVER, I have been here in many occasions and the food and ambiance is ALWAYS great!
