Noah’s never disappoints! His New England clam chowder is the best-not too thick, not too thin, and chock full of clams and potatoes. The seasonings he uses are also perfect. I had the fluke as my entree and ate every last bite. It was tender and flaky and served with a delicious light lemon caper sauce. The fingerling potatoes were excellent, as was the escarole. My husband had the New England clam chowder as well and also loved it. He had the lobster roll for his main course. The lobster was sweet and tender. Delicious!! Finished off our meal with his fabulous beignets and the panna cotta. Really wonderful meal. Can’t wait to return!

My husband and his co-worker had the marinated ribeye. They were blown away. It was in their words the best steak they ever had. Loved our meal and the service. We highly recommend Sophie’s.

The tea house experience is lovely from beginning to end. We were greeted by the owner and escorted to our table. The table was set with beautiful tea cups and lace napkins. We ordered the special tea which began with a bubbly cider. A pot of our individually selected tea arrived in its own tea pot. This was followed by a shrimp loaded cracker. Just yummy. Then came the three tiered high tea service. Everything was warm and delicious. The owner came by several times engaging us in conversation about the tea, food and local area. The entire experience was delightful. This was our third visit. We look forward to returning again.

A Memorable Evening with Stunning Views at The Halyard We recently had dinner at The Halyard and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is certainly a fine dining destination, offering a well-curated menu with thoughtfully crafted dishes. We found the quality to be excellent – both the fish and pasta dishes we ordered were delicious and expertly prepared. The wine pairings were spot-on, complementing the meal perfectly, and the overall wine selection was quite good. One of the absolute highlights is the restaurant's location. If you can time your reservation to coincide with sunset, you are in for a treat. The views are truly picturesque and contribute to an unforgettable dining atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. While they seemed perhaps a little inexperienced in moments, their pleasant demeanor was appreciated. The restaurant had a lively buzz, with background music and the chatter of happy diners; it was a bit noisy but certainly manageable and didn't detract significantly from our meal. Given its quality and popularity – it's deservedly considered one of the better options in the area – we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially if you're hoping for a prime table during sunset. Overall, The Halyard delivers a high-quality dining experience with excellent food and unbeatable scenery. Highly recommended for a special meal out.
