The chefs at Kaigetsu obtain rare vegetables from Hiroshi farmers and prepare them in innovative ways to create exciting new dishes. Kaigetsu’s popular menu items include jellyfish salad, fried Kirishima chicken and mackerel. Two set menu options are available. The Omakase course offers nine to ten dishes, while a lighter course includes seven dishes at a lower price.     What an outstanding meal! The seven course omakase meal was delicious, filling, and so beautifully plated. The restaurant has eight tables and is entirely run by the mother daughter team. We really enjoyed the freshness and the pacing of the entrees. We also loved the house made plum wine with ginger and the house made lemon sake. My husband and I felt welcomed and nurtured during this quiet reprieve from the hustle of the city.

    We visited Sougo on our first night in Tokyo. We had heard it was excellent, and it truly surpassed all our expectations. The ambience, the quality and favor profile of the food, the drinks, the attention to every small detail, the service, the extremely welcoming staff and chef: everything was perfection. The value for money for the quality you get is amazing! We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend dining there while in Tokyo!

    This place is amazingly delicious. We loved every dish! Make sure you try a few of the Naan breads. Also, the vibe is cool. The restaurant is directly adjacent to all of the swanky shops of glitzy Ginza -but the atmosphere is decidedly warm and welcoming.
