Entering the Saloon, a family owned restaurant since it opened in 1967 is a bit like stepping into Philadelphia's past. Brunch before theater. The outside garden seating was a pleasant surprise on this cold November day, with a heated enclosure. The food and service was great as well. I had the chef special, grilled Morris steak, breakfast potatoes, 2 eggs, herb bearnaise - it did not disappoint and was plenty filling. My friend had the shrimp and grits which she also enjoyed. I recommend this dining establishment.

Vetri Cucina provided the experience we were seeking to celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary! Our table for 2 in a quiet corner of the cozy intimate dining room was perfect. Eric was our primary server provided so much care and attention we felt like we were his only table. He was supported by a team of 4 others who were equally attentive. The wine pairings were superb. There aren't enough adjectives to describe the exquisitely prepared plates. This was truly an exceptional evening right here in our city of Philadelphia!!

I haven’t been here in a few years and decided to return as I’ve always loved the ambiance. I remember the food as being good but not excellent. This time it was excellent as was the seevice and everything about our meal. It seems they have really stepped things up a notch since I was last there. I’ll definitely be back again soon!

Consistently EXCELLENT for 35 years. Never had a bad experience. Parking is easy, service is always great and the food is as good as anywhere in the world. Never disappointing...except when we can't get in!
