Ruta Oaxaca means “Road to Oaxaca,” a historic state in the southern part of Mexico. Mr. Castillo and his Partners are keenly focused on honoring Oaxacan culinary traditions, whose fame is derived in great part from its many varieties of moles. By legend, these ancient recipes are more than sauces, they are the very focus of the meal.     Went with friends for a special lunch. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The server was professional and attentive. The food overall was delicious. One person was disappointed in their pork chop.

    Wow. The atmosphere is incredible and it truly feels like nothing else on Long Island. The servers are very knowledgeable and helped us pick an amazing wine (get the Cain, you won’t be disappointed). The meal was a whole other experience with some of the best plates we’ve had. Highly recommend ordering a bunch of stuff to share- we loved the raviolo, pork sticky ribs, the carrots and the radicchio salad. Thank you to the whole team for making our evening so special!!

    Took my girlfriend for her birthday. Amazing brunch menu with a complimentary beverage, alcohol and non-options. The view and fireplace were really cozy. Food was outstanding! Staff were very attentive and friendly. They even brought out a little surprise birthday treat and candle along with singing haha They have valet parking as well. I would definitely recommend this place and will most certainly be returning!

    Always a pleasurable experience dining at The Atlas. Have returned many times. Especially enjoy the Wed. evening live music. The wait staff is always warm and inviting, and very attentive. Beautiful ambiance as well. Just go!
