Amici Italian Restaurant, located on the corner of A1A and 312, has been part of the St. Augustine community for over 20 years. In 2020, local Award-winning Chef Freddy Underhill and his wife, Jennifer, purchased Amici with the hopes of carrying on it's legacy. However, 6 days in, they were shut down for dine-in service due to COVID-19. The new owners were motivated and are proud to have remained open to serve St. Augustine and the many visitors travelling through each year. Best known for their traditional Italian-American classics like lasagna, parmigiana and alfredo, locals love the Pancetta Candita (aka Candied Bacon) and the Boozy Tiramisu. The food is always outstanding at the Columbia. I didn’t take pictures, I probably take it for granted because I am a local… So easy to make a reservation with OpenTable! I have to give a huge shout out to my server Shane who was the most personableguy ever! Did a great job with the sangria and salad presentation plus he definitely schooled me on some different menu options! He is awesome and if you get a chance to eat at the Columbia in Saint Augustine do yourself a favor and request him!

The food was delicious and excellent customer service. The dip with the fried artichokes was good on anything and the artichokes had a very light coating on them. Best grilled fish sandwich I have had on fresh Cuban bread - nice and thin so it didn't overwhelm the tastiness of the fish. Nice decorations for the Holidays. Overall good experience.

Haven’t enjoyed a meal so much since before Covid. From the moment we walked through the door we were treated like royalty. Franco was attentive to our needs and courses came out in perfect timing for our romantic date night. Enjoyed my rack of lamb, perfectly done along with my husband’s filet. Best goat cheese appetizer for two followed by a warmed lettuce salad. Wonderful sorbet between courses. Very special evening with great memories.
