Lidia's features authentic, regional Italian cuisine. Every item at the restaurant is house-made entirely from scratch with the best ingredients available. Breads and desserts are baked in-house daily and each salad and entree is prepared fresh. Every day Lidia's offers a sampling of seasonal, daily-made pastas. (Pierpont) Morgan, Pierpont's serves perfectly aged prime steaks and fresh seafood arriving daily. To complement your culinary selections, we maintain an extensive wine list featuring bottles from all over the globe, as well as boast a gorgeous 2-story bar equipped with a rolling library ladder.Our Private Dining Rooms-located in the Wine Cellar, along with the Pierpont's Belvedere Room on the 2nd floor overlooking Grand Hall, offer more intimate settings for groups of 6 to 60. Set in Kansas City’s historic City Market, Brown and Loe Restaurant’s inviting atmosphere is a blend of “big city” bistro with the welcoming casual flavor of a neighborhood favorite. Housed in a former Merchant’s Bank constructed in 1920, the restaurant honors the architectural details of the two-story building which features a façade of plate glass and verde marble floors and walls. In the 1940’s, Brown and Loe was originally a produce broker with offices on the second floor of the Merchant’s Bank building. The new Brown and Loe Restaurant celebrates the techniques of curing, pickling and smoking meats, beautifully interpreted into marvelous American comfort cuisine. This is a true local venue, evidenced by the restaurant’s allegiance to the resident farmers and food artisans who supply most of the restaurant’s fresh ingredients. Brown and Loe Restaurant is the second dining concept introduced by Harry Murphy, owner of the City Market’s popular Harry’s Country Club.

    I hadn’t been to Westside Local for brunch in years and I have no idea why I stopped! I had the most amazing pumpkin French toast with cinnamon whipped cream that both I and my toddler loved. Staff was wonderful! Overall, an awesome experience.

    One of our favorite go to fun spot in KC. Scott and his staff never disappoint. This holiday pop up is festive with cocktails and food offerings to match. Our favorites this visit are the Latitude 66°30' cocktail and the Winter Fruit Bread Pudding. Don’t miss spending some of you Holiday Celebrations here!

    Pierpont's has been a favorite restaurant of mine for years. I don't go as often as I would like, but when I do, the quality of the food and service are always consistent and exceptional. In addtion, it is located in Kansas City's iconic Union Station. It is a wonderful restaurant for special occasions, but fun just for a happy hour, too. If you have not tried Pierpont's at Union Station, don't wait, it is a wonderful dining experience.

    Enjoyed brunch, food was tasty. I appreciate that every part of the meal was good. Usually when you eat brunch there is something that may trun out subpar but this brunch was not. This is one of the few if any restaurants in the area that serve freshly squeezed OJ which I was excited about. Service was good but a little slow.
